What size electrical panel does my home need?

A 200-amp service is currently the standard for new homes, but the right panel depends on the size of your home and how many circuits you need. We’ll talk through your power requirements and recommend the best fit.

Electrical panel upgrades

How long does an electrical panel last?

Typically 20 to 40 years. If yours is nearing that age, an upgrade protects both the performance and the safety of your home’s electrical system.

What size generator does a typical house need?

An average household usually needs 5,000 to 8,000 watts, depending on your power habits. We assess your needs and help you choose the right generator.

Backup generators

Where should a generator be installed?

Outdoors, at least 20 feet from your home, to prevent the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. We help find the best location and install to safety protocols.
